Rita Piçarra, former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Microsoft, was at EPSM, where she led a workshop on financial literacy. In front of an auditorium full of students, Rita Piçarra shared her professional and personal journey, highlighting the importance of financial education in achieving autonomy.

On January 9th, a meeting of the Quality Reflection Group was held within the scope of the EPSM Quality Management System. This meeting aimed to raise and analyze proposals to promote the continuous improvement of our school.

EPSM took advantage of the Christmas school break to promote two important internal training actions and train all its employees.

As part of the integrative project, some EPSM students joined the Associação Amigos da Rua this week, distributing clothes, shoes and other essential goods to support those most in need.

The EPSM Restaurant team was responsible for the Welcome Drink service at the 23rd edition of the Company of the Year Award, an initiative promoted by Jornal O Mirante. The performance of the EPSM team was widely praised by the newspaper, being highlighted in both the print and digital editions.

Within the scope of Hotel/Restaurant courses, EPSM began, this academic year, a strategic partnership with Herdade do Sobroso and Eporifrutas, companies that sponsor the Kitchen/Pastry and Restaurant/Bar classes of the 2024/2027 training cycle. This sponsorship model should be expanded to other areas of training, consolidating the connection between EPSM and the job market.
