Former students return to EPSM to celebrate 30 years of the hotel management course
As part of the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the EPSM Hotel Management course, the Educational Restaurant was the stage yesterday for unique learning moments with the presence of three former students.
Rúben Lourenço and Ricardo Pereira, graduates from EPSM and with a highly successful professional career, promoted a cooking masterclass for class B of the 10th year of Cooking/Pastry and Restaurant/Bar.
Ruben Lourenço is currently the Operations Director of a National Geographic ship and managing partner of Riu`s Box Caffé in Samora Correia. He already has a prestigious career, having been Chef de Partie at Pollen Street Social (with two Michelin stars) and Sous Chef at Seabourn Cruise Line.
Ricardo Pereira, who currently works as a trainer at EPSM, is the Executive Chef at Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa's restaurants, which includes Alma, with two Michelin stars.
Daniel Ribeiro, also a graduate of EPSM in the Restaurant/Bar course, promoted a bar workshop. Currently, Daniel Ribeiro is the team's head chef at the bar at Riu's Box Caffé.
These initiatives were an opportunity for students to learn from real examples of success, reinforcing pride and inspiration in EPSM's educational trajectory.
