The Salvaterra de Magos Professional School (EPSM) was invited by Salvaterra City Hall to promote a special showcooking last Friday, at the National Gastronomy Festival, in Santarém.
Chef Noélia Costa and students Leonor Almeida, Sofia Barros and Maryana Silva, from the EPSM Restaurant team, made the Eel and Brioche no Ensopado dish, surprising the public with a creative fusion of flavors. The objective was to help promote Eel Month, an event that takes place in March in the municipality of Salvaterra de Magos.
The Santarém National Gastronomy Festival is one of the most emblematic events in Portugal, celebrating the richness of the country's traditional cuisine. Held annually, the festival brings together renowned chefs, local producers and food lovers, offering a wide variety of typical dishes from various regions.
